It's official! *two pregnancy tests didn't cut it for me* I am pregnant with a real baby and not a tumor (which I've been joking it was).
Went to my doc appt today and she let me hear the baby's heartbeat!!!! YAY!!!
All is well and me and baby are very healthy. I get my sonogram in two weeks to determine the sex of baby.
Stay Tuned to see if baby will be called Zoe or Xander....
Yay...just got approved for Medicaid!! Now I can start making calls for my first appt and taking some tours.
I'm leaning towards Celebration Hospital so far, based on a recommendation. I'll call them first on Monday.
I'm feeling great these days. My tummy is much larger now and I'm popping out of my clothes lol. Time for some maternity clothes!
I'm 11 weeks now and still feeling great. I'm still working on my Medicaid forms so that I can go see a doc soon.
I'm at Ten Weeks now!! Still fighting with Medicaid for insurance so I can go for my first prenatal appt. But I'm hoping things will be completed with the nightmare-bureaucracy soon.
I'm feeling okay this week. Just very very tired. Boobs still hurt a lot and tummy is getting bigger and bigger every day it seems.
No morning sickness but I do have bouts of nauseousness if I'm hungry.
I guess I shouldn't freak out about not having my first prenatal appt yet since I just read that many times they cannot even hear a heartbeat until the 10th-12th week. So fingers crossed that I can get that taken care of within the next couple of weeks.
We just recieved our first baby gifts! Carlos' grandparents bought us a package of onesies, a pack of pjs, and a pack of bibs. AWWWW!!!!
As for me, I'm doing well. Still eating like a pig, but at least trying to eat healthy. Been scarfing down loads of fruits and dairy. And Carlos' grandma bought me some Veggie Burgers for lunch since I can't seem to eat hamburger anymore. Just thinking about a cheeeseburger makes me gag.
My tummy is a little more poofy this week. Looks like I'm starting to show a bit now. YAY...I think...
Wow...already week 8!!! 2 whole months of pregnancy so far. It's surreal!
I bought and am reading a great book called "The Girlfriends' Guide To Pregnancy". Actually, I read it outloud every night for me and Carlos. Very funny, informative, and down-to-earth! I'm really diggin it.
Morning Sickness Report: Nada.....still no sickness to speak of. YAY! This is a great pregnancy so far.
But I still need LOTS of sleep every night. I still pee like a racehorse every night. My breasts are still sore....though not as bad as week 5 and 6.
All in all...everything is doing it thang.
I'm still working on the Medicaid app. They need some things from me so I gotta hussle and get that done soon.
Well I made an appointment with Planned Parenthood for an "official" pregnancy test. The reason is because I'm applying for Medicaid and they need that to prove I'm pregnant and need assistance.
Still no morning sickness and I feel great today! My breasts were KILLING me again last night after wearing a normal bra for a few hours. *OUCH*
I was able to sorta-kinda sleep in this morning. At least I didn't have to work. I just pattered around and surfed the net. It was a much needed downtime for me.
Not being able to fill up on caffeine is tough, but it's getting easier.
